Savour the Flavour
Eat your Jubilee Selections strawberries on the day that you purchase them and if necessary keep them no more than 2 days in the fridge. When you take them out carefully make sure they are not bruised in any way. Then lay them on a piece of soft dry paper to enhance their flavour and they should last for an extra few days.
Especially with these beauties, fill a bowl with tepid water and drop them in, then use your fingers gently with your hand open to lift them out carefully. The berries will be freshly rinsed and your Jubilee Selections will be jubilant!
Strawberries taste their best when served at room temperature, so take them out of the fridge an hour before you plan to use them, place them on a soft piece of paper on a windowsill full of sunshine and the flavour will be beautiful.
Whilst many believe strawberries are best served with sugar or champagne, Jubilee Selections strawberries are exceptionally delicious and naturally sweet so adding something like a bit of spice like basil or a handful of mint work well as does a really good glug of orange liquor.
This combination works well providing you with an innovative strawberry flavour which not only cleanses the palate but really does taste good!
For a real fresh taste of summer, team Jubilee strawberries with a large handful of torn mint leaves. Rip them apart with your fingers to release a stronger flavour and mix in with the strawberries.
